While North America does not actually support dogs on the golf course (except in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/0\/edit?mid=1YGXB5zbggdYo1LCLVvVGlSktXkSSvXAH&amp;ll=39.27735761486565%2C-103.5764050139976&amp;z=5\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">a few rare clubs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #008000;\">), their canine appreciation does, inspire a few special fundraiser competitions on the tournament calendar. Many of these are in aid of canine charities (and yet, still oddly don\u2019t integrate the beneficiaries of their largesse into the day\u2019s festivities). But events like the <a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\">FACE Foundation &#8220;Pro&#8217;s and Pups&#8221; event<\/a> integrate the beneficiaries of the fund raising with the fun!\u00a0 In fact, one charity <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ccigolf.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Canine Companions Golf<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #008000;\"> promotes such events and keeps a list of those on its website (as well as a number of \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/canine.org\/location\/northwest\/event\/putting-for-pups-golf-classic\/\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Putting for Pups<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u201d events).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">So show your appreciation for your best friend by asking your club about allowing canine companions on your round (even if for a trial period during off-peak times), or at least join in a golfing event which at least supports better lives our puppy pals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ccigolf.org\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"Canine Classic Competitions 2\" src=\"http:\/\/doggolf.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Canine-Classic-Competitions-2.jpg\" alt=\"Canine Classic Competitions 2\" width=\"412\" height=\"279\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy National Dog Day (in America).
