They say that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” so I will take the arrival of DogFriendlyGolfUK.com (thanks Fiona) as a compliment.  Especially as its first iteration extracted a big chunk of the dog friendly course data from DogGolf.info.

After a bit of diligent digging, I found the websmaster.  He is another afficionado of the golfing with dogs and, like myself, thought it would be fun and useful to create site to help people find and choose courses that they can take their dogs out on.  He was very welcoming to my introduction, happy to acknowledge and respect the DogGolf.info dataset, and keen on any ways we could collaborate.  So we are working on some ways both our sites can further the cause.  Stay tuned.
